UK MS Awareness Week 2024

UK MS Awareness Week 2024 will run from the 22 - 28 April. Wherever you live, join us to help spread awareness of MS.

Join us in April for UK MS Awareness Week 2024!

We know that we are all stronger when we come together, so for the second year running we have partnered with the MS Society, MS Trust, MS-UK, MS Together, the Neuro Therapy Network (previously MS National Therapy Centres) and Shift.MS, to increase our reach and deliver a powerful and hopeful message for MS Awareness Week to more people.

You’ll see all of these charities joining in the conversation to spread awareness.

To help us reach more people with MS, so that they can understand the importance of lifestyle factors to help them live a full and healthy life with MS, please donate if you can.

What happened during MS Awareness Week in 2023?

Read below to find out more about what we did in 2023 during UK MS Awareness Week to spread awareness and help more people with MS to live well.

MS Awareness Week 2023: #MSMakesMe

Help us spread awareness of the reality of life with MS

MS Awareness Week UK 2023, running from Monday 24th – Sunday 30th April, we talked about how MS makes you feel. We partnered with six UK MS charities to deliver one unified message and raise awareness about the diversity of life with multiple sclerosis.

Whether you’re living with MS or you’re a carer, healthcare professional, a friend or family member of someone with MS, we know how unpredictable and diverse life with MS can be, and the considerable emotional impact it can have. Wherever you live, we invite you to take part in sharing the reality of life with MS.

How did our community get involved in 2023?

Across the globe our community joined the conversation on social media and shared how MS makes them feel. We used the hashtag #MSMakesMe to help others know they are not alone in how they feel on their MS journey.

We asked Sue, member of the England South West Circle, to share how MS makes her feel:

“#MSMakesMe adventurous. I don’t let it define me, I’m still me. I just have to adapt my home and lifestyle to enable me to carry on living well with MS. I almost relish in the challenges my MS gives me, to find new ways to continue doing what I want to do!”

Does MS make you feel brave, tired, positive, worried for the future, or hopeful? Or something entirely different? Our community shared their #MSMakesMe story with us on social media.
